He is ATHLETIC as all get out. Haven't seen him play this year, but he's got a lot of potential and can jump out of the gym. Fast and tenacious on D. Excited to see him develop.

Shocked that a school the size of Mason has 8th graders on the team? Was this out of necessity or is the kid just that good? Also did Augusta have any of their varsity players that are frosh playing in that game? Heard their may have been a conflict with a varsity match up?

Love those qualities in a young player, especially since, in many ways, you either have those or you don't. As a college coach said to me about great defenders, you can't put a dog into a kid, but you can always take a little dog out if need be.

 

Sounds like Garrison is one to keep an eye on.:thumb:

Several talented freshman. I'm not sure the reasoning, I'd guess it's more his talent than frosh team need. But if he keeps up the work and focus he'll be an asset to coach Ohearn for four more years.
