Ervin and Gary Stepp. They have another relative but not sure if he's a brother to them.

Joe played for Warfield High School. Jimmy and Ervin played at Sheldon Clark with Ervin transferring to Phelps to play for his brother Joe when he got the coaching job. Not sure if Gary played at Sheldon Clark or Phelps.

Clark and Clint Steep from JBS could realyy be a great duo in the next year or 2.

There were a set of twins that played at Carlisle Co. when they went to the sweet 16 finals back in about '82-'83. Both were about 6'9" or so but I can't remember their name. I think they scored quite a few but I would imagine the Stepp brothers would be the leading pair of scorers. Ervin averaged 50+ his senior year before going on to EKU and then, I believe, Alice Lloyd College.

the sheilds brothers at Walton both are members of 1000 point club and both could shoot the lights out.

Anybody remember the Pouncy brothers at Holmes in the late 80's??? Corey and Alfonso.... they were tough.

Dickie Alexander of Hazard and David Alexander. Dickie is probably the second leading scorer in Hazard's history. David started three years for Hazard and probably averaged 15 per game. (Dickie's daughter Carolyn is the all time leading scorer at Hazard, boys or girls). Dickie's other brother Vick, who never played for Hazard, played college basketball for Iowa State, was the Big 12 coference leading scorer and played in the NBA for Golden State and Detroit.

Regie, donald and arthur Hanson from Pulaski County, had a lot of points between the three. Greg, Al, and Brad Gover were brothers and all had stellar careers.

How about Kent, Kevin and Jeff Sisler from Boyd County back in the early 80's. There were pretty good from what I remember...

My bust I wasn't sure I just knew that he scored a ton in his junior (47ppg) and Senior (53ppg) years. I still say that the Stepp family is the highest scoring in state history though.

Chris and Kelly Harrison from Tollesboro High School.

Eddie, David, Jim, Tad, Danny, and Joe Bill Hopkins from Bracken County.

Brendan, Jordan and Evan Stowers from Simon Kenton could be up there. I do not know if any of them have 1,000 points but I do know that they all played varsity for 3 or so years. 9 years of varsity is going to get you some points.

 

Bert (Jr.) and Jackson Capel from Heritage have to be high up there. They were both very prolific scorers.

 

George, Doug & Mark Schloemer will be very high as well. George had a fine career at Covington Catholic and Doug won Mr. Basketball in '79 for Covington Holmes.

 

The McCarter brothers from Silver Grove came to my mind immediately.

 

Roger & Dan Tieman from Covington Catholic are both in the 1,000 point club. Together they have 2,529 points - from 1953-1958.

What about the Poore's...? Walton Verona players.

The McCarter brothers of Silver Grove have to be one of the tops, I know they both scored way over 1000 points for there career I believe.

I believe Chad about 2300 and Bryant had close to 2500.
