Someone at the game told me that Conner was up by about 8 or so with 3 to go and NCC made a late rally. Sounded like Conner didnt play well in the end and let it get away. Heard Conner had a shot to tie at the buzzer and the kid got hacked pretty bad but there was no foul called. Anybody there have any details?

Conner was up 17 at half. NCC picked up the defense the 2nd half.

Now I left after halftime because I threw in the towel.... My buddy who stayed told me this morning that NCC came out and just blew them out in the 3rd quarter with a full court press that caused the Cougars fits. Actually Connor had a 4pt lead going into the 4th. The end of the game was the suspect part.

 

I think with 1.9 seconds left and Conner down by 3 pts one of their players was fouled shooting a 3pointer. He missed the 1st shot, made the 2nd and the 3rd shot hit the backboard but no rim. The ball should have been inbounded by NCC with no time expired but the referees let the clock run out. My friend said that Jim Hicks (Conner coach) was chasing the referees into the locker room after the game.

How did Curry do in Kiernan? He (Curry) may be one of the most underrated players in the 9th.

Curry was impressive in pre game I will say that. He went to his hip with the ball and roundhoused a nice flush during pregame. I was like.... what did I just see????

 

Kiernan owned him most of the 1st half and all of the 2nd half. Curry is a good player, plays well away from the basket as far as handling the ball and has a decent spin move but I think Keirnan's performance clearly overshadowed Curry.

I have heard a lot of good stuff about Curry, but have yet to see him play. Keirman is impressive,I personally think he could be a legit D-1 tight end if they would put him there. Did not think he would be as polished as he is in b-ball. Great defender with a great attitude.
