Final of the All-A Second region tournament. Caldwell goes 16-35 at the Free throw line while UHA goes 23-40. An ugly ball game that had 5 technical fouls called. Awesome crowd in the smallest gym (Dawson Springs) in the region. Atmosphere was great, but so many whistles.

I believe it's somewhere around 1000.

Worst called game I have ever seen. The refs were totally lost during the whole game. Seemed to be a little lopsided. Tight game at the half, but UHA come out the third quarter and opened it up. Made a heck of a run to start the second half. Caldwell never recovered. When you get outshot at the charity stripe like that, there is no excuse. Tiny gym, but very loud.

Sounds like if there were 5 technicals there weren't enough whistles!

Who were they?

I do not remember 5 technicals. I must have missed something. I remember each bench getting one, a UHA player for slamming his hand on the floor, and another UHA player getting one for a chest bump on a Caldwell player. I must be forgetting one.

The gym holds 1,200 according to the KHSAA website. Old school here, but it might be my favorite gym still in use. U-shaped with a wall at the end. Every fan is close to the action, and when the crowd is in to it...awesome.

UH had 7 more made foul shots than CC and the margin of victory was 13? Both teams need to do some work in the gym from the line.
