Play of the game: With 11.9 seconds left on the clock in OT and St. X with the ball and down 3 points, number 2 Frey takes a 3 point shot to try and tie the score but as he releases the ball Nick Ruthsatz comes up big and gets a piece of the ball and it's short and CovCath gets the loose ball. Game!

 

With the victory CovCath improves to 15-1 and next play Summit Country Day (Cincinnati, Ohio) in the Play by Play Classic @ Withrow HS with the Tip-off coming at 4pm on Saturday Jan 20th.

A question for you rules guys, playing in Ohio had the CCH coach gotten his second T would he have to sit out games in Ky? Just curious, he wasn't close to getting a second one but it made me wonder how that works.

I could not be more pleased with a player's success than I am with that of Mark Schult.

As of last week he needed around 200 points to break it! But he had to big games for the colonels!!

paNDA some might get the impression that we talk after the game, so that I post the play of the game, so you have the picture at the ready to post and as you know, we do no such thing!

I must also say, what a nice basketball facility Fairfield has. Top notch. Odd though how the basket just hangs there 20 feet from the end wall.

Note it was #12 Martin who took the last shot for X.
