If the rumors are true, I would like to see the administration go outside of the program to find a replacement. I honestly don't think Salmons is ready to run a program. Lewis would be a good choice, but he has to be close to retirement, so you would probably be going through the same thing in a few years and outside of him, I don't know of any other members on the staff who are ready.

Actually, Coach Lewis has already retired from Ohio and is now working in Kentucky. I'm not sure he would be interested in being a Head Coach, but he is more then capable.

 

Salmons now has an administration position and I'm not sure the school would allow him to be a Head Coach. They may, but in the past they have not allowed administration to be Head Coaches.

 

If the Raceland job is open, I expect some interesting people to apply. And, I expect the Raceland administration to seek out some very qualified, experienced coaches.

Ram I know you,and I know you know me.We both know they will not hire outside of the program.I think that's a mistake on there part.Its good for your son he got through this and did not have to deal with it.I have herd that Salmons is taking TJ's old job.
