Interesting comment from someone that wasn't there.

You will see that I asked if it happened. A poster who seems like they were there said it did.

My comment resulted from that.

And my comment was a result from your sarcastic comment. You know good and well it was not a strategy.

Without being there why would I know that?

I should have added that I heard they finally got a steal and a bucket to cut it to 5. Sounded like they were trying to steal but were wasting clock while trying to do so.

Exactly, you were not there. But you felt the need to ridicule in a subtle way. Clock was wasted due to some inexperienced players not fouling when they should have, GC's best player was on the bench with 5 fouls.

Clyde, I am a WV fan. The coaches from Gallatin Co. were telling their players to foul. They just didn't do it. Overall, GREAT game for WV and a good performance from Gallatin Co. They were in foul trouble the whole game and couldn't over come it. Coach Roberts, staff, and players showed a lot of class during and after the game. Good luck to them the rest of the year. If you haven't seen the Dossett girls play, you need to watch them!

Good luck to Coach Clinkenbeard and staff tomorrow in the finals. They have done a great job overcoming injuries all year and have the girls playing their best basketball of the season!

Great post! And yes, the Dossett girls can play. Their Parents should be proud.

Did GC put WV on the line late hoping to catch up?

According to your sources...............no, LOL! GC did not really think about fouling until the 1:30 mark, as the game was still close enough that fouling really wasn't needed yet. Then, as stated earlier, GC unintentionally let a little too much time run off before fouling at that point. Again, congrats to Coach Clink and the Bearcats on the win.

I'm trying to figure out why a question posed and a subsequent innocent response has gotten your panties in a wad.

I'd guess you're either a)the coach b)related to the coach or c)a parent of a player. My guess is a parent. The age-old problem of boards like BGP is frustrated parents posting so soon after a tough loss. Been there. I get it.

Maybe take some time before you get on BGP after a tough one so that you don't come across as THAT parent. We've all been there.

You got 3 things right. I am in fact the asst coach, I am related to the head coach, and I am the father of two of the players. Panties in a wad? No sir......your "smartest guy in the room routine" gets rather tiresome. You made a sarcastic comment about "strategy", and I pointed it out. As far as me being "that parent"....I am the farthest thing from that. "We've all been there"? I doubt you've been anywhere that I have been, LOL.

I am not sure why you thought it was sarcastic but I now see why you reacted the way you did.

No ill will intended. I truly found it interesting.
