These rankings, along with the Litkenhaus rankings are not very accurate towards the beginning of the year and throughout the season; however, as the season continues to develop and tournament time approaches they begin to get more accurate.

 

I'm sure there will be plenty of changes between now and the middle of March.

 

The reason they become more accurate is because teams begin to be knock out of the game because of the tounaments. I think that next year I might start the Kingsize Rankings

The only rankings this year that I have agreed with on a regular basis throughout the year have been right here BGP. Maybe they should just publish those in the papers.

Also how is a 13-13 team in the top 25?

Nine of Trinity's losses are to teams in Cantrall's top 25, and seven of them are by six points or less. Trinity has also beaten a top-25 team. I've seen Trinity play, and believe me ... they're not a team anyone would love to face in the postseason.

Trinity beat Eastern 60-51 ... another indication that a top-25 rating for the Rocks isn't indefensible.

You said nine of Trinitys losses are to teams in the top 25 right? But they still loss and that is all that matters. At the end of the year the team who wins play on, and the team that loses is done.

 

How is Ballard ranked number 2?

Now is Pendleton ranked 12?

 

I just dont understand these rankings at all.

It isn't as if Trinity is ranked ahead of most of the teams they lost to ... they've proven, time and time again, that they're very competitive with the best teams in the state.
