Hawkins was likely to be cut this year had he stayed at Dixie (mainly because of how many juniors they already had)...goes to Cooper and has been a great addition to Coach Sully's squad.

I've been a horrible supporter of the program in '13/'14 so I can't speak about tonight's game. I know the game last season was about as physical as it can get. I know Trent's teams like to get physical and it seems like Sullivan likes that style as well.

For a low scoring game it was pretty exciting.

Also a Grand Valley State coach was in the stands.
