Rivals has him as a 3 star

Wasn't he committed to Vandy?

He was. I wonder how many other Vandy commits will head up to Happy Valley.

I read this morning that Vandy has had 8 commits de-commit since the announcement.

Tubman had a visit lined up to UK next week.

PSU offered the other 6 VU de-commits.

Ouch.

When asked today how strong his commitment to PSU - soft or full Tubman replied "mid."

Visiting UK next week.

Just wondering if "A Vandy Recruit" is what the folks at Happy Valley were wishing for? Would any of these kids have been on PSU's Radar or even considered by the previous coach?

Penn State is still under significant scholarship restrictions, the fact they even have slots left is surprising. I wonder if Franklin is shuffling out some of O'Briens recruits, or if they simply had very few commits. I would say his job in Happy Valley is far more difficult for the first couple years even that winning at Vandy in the SEC, which is daunting on it's own.

They are down 10 schloarships this year, and 5 next year. Thats significant. They have been under sanctions two years at 65. Complete rebuild. Only good thing is they have a really good young QB.
