Not the strongest of fields in the 10th this year. Bishop Brossart & Bracken County are the favorites, with the Lady Stangs probably having an edge. Last year's final between the two was a pretty good one.

 

Augusta has a good team this year, but certainly drew the short end of the stick having to play Brossart in their first game. I would put the Lady Panthers as the #3 team. And I don't know how I'd rank the rest, other than to say I don't believe any of them have a shot at winning it.

I say Brossart vs. Robertson for the title.

Robertson County went out to a creditable Nicholas County team 74-42 in the second Saturday first round game.

So are we saying the same two teams should win it this year as the same two teams that should win it every year?

I say Brossart vs. Robertson for the title.

 

And I was really wrong.

Was there for the St. Pat - Silver Grove game and the competition that both teams showed was great. Neither team can compete on a nightly basis with most teams. Silver Grove was up at half but lost. They wound up with only four girls on the court at the end of the game due to players fouling out but they were still had a chance to win the game. This is what the All A tournament is really about.

The first game is a rematch of last years' Regional final, won by Brossart 45-41. I would expect an equally competitive game tonight.

 

These two teams are very similar .. I expect a very close game tonight .. too close to call. Both teams have fantastic fan support. I would bet that Regents Hall will be rocking!
