Brenan Kuntz

Featured Replies

It is hard to get an offer during the dead period.

Usually kids aren't offered after dead period also. Kuntz is a heck of a player though so maybe a Bowling green or WKU can sneak in late. But in all likelihood this is the type of offer he will recieve for the next month

BK might be in the situation where NSD has to come and go before D1 programs who might be interested see if they still have a need at QB.

Dead period was just over. WKU is still after him. I wouldn't be surprised if Louisville starts recruiting him.

You wouldn't be surprised even though no one knows who the new coach will be?

We also met all the players and shook everyone's hands. If that is indeed Brennan, than in no way shape or form is he 6'3. No knocking him. He's just not that tall. And no way is he 205 either. I was very surprised at his size when we met. I assumed he was much bigger. Helluva player. Just not the size mentioned.

Congrats goingfor2 your son is taller than you had previously known. :loll: I know Brenan is at least 6' 2". More importantly he's young and may grow a couple more inches before his sophomore year wherever he ends up. Don't tell Brees or Manziel about size. Not that I'm comparing them to Kuntz.

Just saying there are intangibles that out weigh what others perceive as shortcomings. Kuntz' vision, decision making, and mobility will serve him well at the next level and people familiar with his talents know they will overshadow size concerns.

Side note: best wishes to your son and his future.

Unless they had a stand in at the award presentation for Players of year. My son wins the award at the end of this video. RJ Taylor. He's 5'11. You'll notice Brennan in the middle. If he's 6'3. Then the Male QB at the start of the line at the top of the video is 6'7.....notice the different in heights.

Instagram.....

Brenan is no where in this video I do see Marksberry getting his award for him though.

The kid in the grey beside him is who was introduced as Brennan and who shook hands and introduced himself as Brennan. Standin immediately beside his coach that also won a coaching award.

Also, didn't want it to seem as a knock against the young man. I just said he's not a big guy from what I saw. I hope he gets all the offers he ever wants. Thought it made sense from the size of the person I met, as not all the best players go D1, and not all D1 players are the best high school players.

I just think people weigh too much of their perceived success in recruiting, based solely on D1 offers. So many good programs that aren't "D1". GVSU is nothing to turn a nose up to IMO. I think it's great he's going to have a shot after high school. So many kids don't even get that chance

One of the SK folks messaged me that they didn't think that was Brennan receiving the award on his behalf........that would make sense for the size descrepancy. Because the person introduced as Brennan wS nowhere near 6'3..... We are all good.

His name is Brenan Kuntz don't know who Brennan Kuntz.

My apologies for adding an extra n to his name. I promise you it was meant with no disrespect.

It should get very interesting with Petrino at UL and Brohm the new head coach for WKU both are recruiting Brenan.

Great Kid with a very nice mom ! Congrats and Good Luck !:thumb:

I heard Coach Marksberry fielded 5 or 6 texts and phone calls from D1 coaches last week about Brenan. It should get interesting once the first D1 offer comes.
