I look for the Birds to put it in the freezer ala NDA/HHS girls regional game.

That would a)very interesting and b)pretty good strategy.

 

I would NOT expect Scott Ruthsatz to sit back like Coach Levandusky did though.

 

While fans would complain I'd have no problem if HHS tried it in order to keep it close. I'd love to see how CCH reacted.

The 40 point loss last year was not an indication of the talent the Birds had, they pretty much laid an egg that night along with their game vs NCC. The team this year actually seems to have a point guard who is a POINT GUARD and not a 4 being thrown out there and asked to be a point guard. Buten, IMO should have been the starting PG last season, it would have given them a true PG who could distribute to their scorers (Turner, Houliston, Witte). But folks, that was last year and a different coach. I dont think the Birds have the muscle to match the physical play of CovCath.

 

I also dont think they can stop Ruthsatz, the kid can score when he wants pretty much. I hope the Highlands students show up and support the Birds bigtime tonight though and I hope they keep it within 15.
