Newcath 33 Lafayette 21 Half....Drew McDonald and Ben Weyer both in double figures.

Weyer with 14 & McDonald 13.

First impressive of Lafayette.....good athletes. Not a very smart team.

 

They rushed so many shots that first half and took way too many contested 3's. The key to beating Newcath isn'y playing uptempo. THey have good enough ball handlers to handle the pressure. The key is forcing them to play good halfcourt defense and Lafayette isn't doing that.
