They can compete with any of them. They would likely fall short to prep powerhouses like Oak Hill Academy and Prime Prep, but Ballard is right up there with all of them. If not for a bad start and a bad decision at the end of regulation, I think they would have beat Arsenal Tech.

Who has credible national rankings? USA Today? ESPN? Rivals? Seems like if Ballard hasn't been getting love then they should be soon.

Rivals Rankings should be out soon and I'd guess they will be in Maxpreps Xcellent 25 as well.

 

As already stated...Ballard is really, really good. I'd argue them as top 10 in the country. Outside of some of the elite teams, I don't think there's too many teams they couldn't beat.

Of all the teams I've watched so far...I'll be stunned if Ballard doesn't win it all this season.

USA Today Super 25 is probably the best one but Maxpreps Xcellent 25 and RivalsHigh100 both do a solid job as well. I don't think ESPN does an entire 25...could be wrong though.

USA Today has Arsenal Tech #17 nationally...and Ballard should've beat them. That should be a good indication to just how good they are.
