I'm out...

So close to qualifying!

If we're that desperate for umps, I can already see myself getting tossed this year.

Sweet I will be there, I aint doing nothing in the Spring.

Amazing it is so difficult to find people that are willing to do a job that pays up to $50 per hour. May also be the only job in the world that being screamed at and insulted publicly is acceptable behavior.

I love these types of posts ! The greatest part is all of the fans that want to be umpires as long as they are sitting behind the safety of the screen. It's not that bad, even with Lawnboy and RCC9 keeping a close eye on everyone ! Come on out and challenge yourself, it's a great thing for the kids and you may find an even greater satisfaction for yourself. Don't be shy….and as for LB and RCC, I expect a little more activity on this board…spring is right around the corner !

A lot more goes into it than just the actual game, lots of driving, meetings, etc. Don't forget rainouts after taking off work, etc.
