Newport Central Catholic 90 Dayton 30

I've always thought that this district should seed based on the fact that the teams that voted not to seed (Newport, Bellevue, Dayton) could have their best team in years and have the misfortune of drawing NCC or Highlands in the first round and be bounced. It could have happened to Newport in the year they won the Region. They lost badly to NCC in the district final but what if that had been a first round game?

I'll stand by my statement. While I will give you the benefit of the doubt as to your intent, your comment was indeed disrespectful. And I assure you that those two schools did indeed play Ludlow when they were in the 35th, I played in those games. And trust me, it was well before 04/05.

.......

In other news, I have been to a slew of games at NewCath and I have never, every, seen a crowd like that (or lack thereof) in that gym. Wow.

That might be because the game was at Dayton.

That would explain it...what a moron I am. The green pads should have given it away. Silly me, I just assumed if they were playing this M&M'er it would have been at NewCath.

Thanks for the kind response though -- Merry Christmas.

There was actually a very nice crowd on hand, of course they were all on the other side of the gym.
