That is Michael Waite. He has Down Syndrome, he attended Highlands and actually suited up for the Birds about 6-8 yrs ago and then Dale had him stay on as an Asst Coach.

 

Rarely if ever has he missed a practice or game, Coach Waite puts his time in just like the rest of the guys:thumb:

 

He is quite the dancer as he can be seen doing his thing after a Highlands score to the tune of that goofy song they play...

No moral victory. The attitude is that they need find a way to get by the Birds.

 

35 points is most in 3 years (21 and 28 last 2 years). But a near perfect game was needed. 2 early turnovers and an ill- timed penalty were the problems. Can not do that.
