Anyone use Goodreads?

Featured Replies

Have had a Facebook-linked account for awhile that I never use. Canceled it and opened another one yesterday. Spent WAY too much time rating books and seeing the recommendations. Found lots of good stuff to read.

Think I might be a fan.

I love Goodreads. But I don't spend nearly as much time as I should there. I LOVE that site!

RM, did you hear about A Circle In The Woods from me? Winston is a childhood friend of mine.

You could have been. I can't remember. The Poisonwood Bible came up on my recommendations, which is kind of weird because I just went to the library book sale the other day, and a couple of gentlemen browsing near me recommended it to me. So I bought it. I'm finishing a Ken Follett, then The Poisonwood Bible is next...I think.

I've been on there for a while and have found a few nice recommendations through it. I think its potential is largely in its function as social media.

Never used it but I'm always looking for new stuff. Sounds like a good site.

It's a great site, and the book recommendations I have read from there have been solid...all of them. However, I've found that it's just added to my "to-read" stack of books more than anything.

I've used it a little and have found it a good resource.
I *think* I found you.

I just signed up for it....I need to get into some good books. Anyone have any recommendations for me to give a try to? Not sure where to get started on the site.

:lol2: For some reason or another that's not a huge surprise to me.

I'm liking it.

I didn't know I could be found. :lol2:
