I'm curious to how you can justify saying the bolded statement? When in the final score thread, you said the Camels size controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and the Camels QB and run game could not be stopped. To say Cooper dominated that game is a mystery to me. I will say Coopers 1st drive looked easy but the Camels D played well after that. I know you all had a couple key turnovers but so did we. Guess your still bitter about the fans going on the field and the singing of our fight song. DOMINATE? Come on man! :idunno:
Actually it's pretty easy. Watch the game. Cooper marched up and down the field but unfortunately coughed the ball up when it counted the most. They moved the ball at will for the most part. Over 200+ yards of offense just through the air but 2 fumbles killed them. The line for Campbell was definitely the better on both sides of the ball, that doesn't mean Campbell dominated the game.

How could you say the Camels defense played well after the first drive? the second drive Cooper once again drove all the way down to the 2 yard line with ease and then they fumbled. Had a Cooper receiver with over 120 yards in the air and 4 other receivers with more than 20+ yards. Campbell didn't slow Cooper down much. Campbells QB was very stoppable, the running game is what Campbell was successful at, not his passing.

To refresh your memory of the game

The Camels Defense struggled most of the night but Cooper shot themselves in the foot too many times.

Here are the drives Cooper had, yards and plays each offesnive possesion

80 yds 11 plays

77 yds 16 plays

30 yds 8 plays

10 yds 3 plays

60 yds 5 plays

72 yds 13 plays

Not really a dominating defensive stand by Campbell. Only 1 3 and out.

I was at the game, watched the game and watched the game several other times after the fact. I never used the word dominate camel defense. I said they played well after the 1st couple drives. How can I say this? EASY... they forced 2 turnovers at critical points in the game. Surrendered only 12 points and 2 of your drives continued on penalties. I never said dominating but they got the job done when it counted. Cooper couldn't stop our running game. Had a chance late in the game to stop us and make it interesting but QB Avery Wood shredded the Jags D. Hardly a dominating performance by the Jags but u keep dominating us and we'll take the W's. I'll trade that all day with you.:thumb:

I didn't say passing the ball. Running the ball he wasn't stopped.

Cooper moved the ball thru the air at Will on first 2 drives scoring on first drive and then fumbling on the 1 on the second drive.

Camels run game couldn't be stopped. Cooper went to the run 2nd and 3rd qtr and 2 turnovers hurt them in the game.

Camels QB couldn't be stopped on the run. Good game CC. Congrats.

Doesn't sound like you thought the jags "dominated" when the game was fresh in your mind.

You made it sound like Avery swhredded us through the air which he didn't

He ran well, but it wasn't Campbell that outplayed Cooper, it was Cooper shooting themselves int he foot which cost them the game. I remember the game well and just watched it again today. the onnly thing that stopped Cooper's offense was Cooper. Wasn't Campbells defense which as you said played great after the first drive. I was trying to be nice to Campbell Co. They won the game and deserved to win because of Coopers mistakes. That doesn't mean I feel Campbell would win iin a rematch. Actually I think Cooper would win by 2 scores at least.

That's your opinion and your entitled to it about if they played again. Lets not forget that the camels shot themselves in the foot also with a couple turnovers and a couple penalties that kept the jags drive alive on 2 possessions. One which was 4th and long. I also was being nice complimenting the jags on their performance and their QB and speed of their WR's. I just chose not to say it was a dominating performance by either team (which it wasn't) I believe if they played today the Camels would win by 3+ TDs.

Thats your opinion. i think Cooper beat themselves that game by going away from what they did great in the first qtr and stopped passing the ball the 2nd, 3rd and halfway thru the 4th qtr until they went back to the pass. Wasn't anything Campbell did to stop Cooper,Cooper stopped themselves and I think if they played again Cooper wins by 5 TD's.

We'll just agree to disagree. Good luck in the playoffs.

Watched the game one more time tonight hellbird. Here's the totals for the game:

Cooper had 292 total yards of offense

Camels had 318 total yards of offense.

Cooper had 6 drives, 2 punts, 2 fumbles and 2 TDs

Camels had 7 drives, 2 punts, 2 TDs, 1 FG, 1 INT at your 8 yard line and ran the clock out to end the game on a drive that started at our 25 and took a knee at your 25.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. :ylsuper:

Yea we all know about your predictions! :D

You're like an elephant, you never forget. You need to be more like a dog and let it go. Your blood pressure will appreciate it.

So you now know that Campbell couldn't stop Coioper, Cooper stopped themselves. Thanks, glad you finally understand what I was talking about.

Actually neither defense was stellar, i'll admit. Cooper as I said cost themselves the gaqme by turning the ball over when they were driving both times and going away from what was succesful and never weent back until it was too late.

Stopped them enough to win! Hope you guys continue that type of "domination" over us.

Nah, you didn't stop them, we handed you the ball so you could finally get a win over us after last years embarrasment.
