You have 16 teams, games are played all day every day and the place is packed all day. Why can they not switch it between Berea College and Eastern? Change it up Eastern is such a big gym that it does not give you that tourney time feel at times like a smaller gym does. The crowds are not down on the floor and make alot noise. The stands are up off the floor and crowd sometimes can not be felt in the game by the players.

Model may not have the facility, but Berea puts on a pretty big Christmas tourney. I think there is more to it than that.

I've played in two district tournaments (well actually only one since I was out with a knee injury last year) but anyway, you can notice the fans in the game. I especially noticed them in the game i sat out of. When you're playing you normally cant hear the crowd anyway so it isn't really that big of a factor.

Why is it fair that we still play single class basketball? I love the draw. At least teams like Model and Berea have a chance to advance to the region and pick up that 1/8 split of the money. I don't think people realize that in a single class system a small school will continue to get beat beacuse the bigger schools are advancing and utlimately making more money. More money to put back in the program.

It only has to be a majority so if Berea or Model , just one of them would seed then it would be a done deal. Also single A school have their own regional tourney to draw money from. It boils down to a school like MS working their tails off trying to get up there with the big boys doing everything possible then having their fate sealed by drawing from a hat????? Is that fair? The only teams in the region they could beat would be one another.

It's a thrill to play a district game at EKU. There are tons of people there and the place is very loud. It was one of the highlights of my career and I played in many "packed" small gyms, playing in a 7000 seat place, even if its only half full, is great.
