September 9, 201313 yr Regarding Charlie Strong....Jurich has said the NFL is the only place he can't compete with in terms of money....Sorry, but he's delusional if he doesn't think Texas has the money to outbid any offer Louisville could muster. Now, having said that, I don't see Strong being all that interested in the Texas job, if/when it comes open.

September 9, 201313 yr I believe that Texas would go after a bigger name and than Strong. With the exception to coaches who are already at destination jobs (Saban at Alabama, Stoops at Oklahoma, Meyer at OSU, Kelly at ND) there are not too many coaches with bigger names than Strong and (depending on how WKU does) Petrino. Strong is sort of the darling of college football in terms of coaches not at destination jobs.
