Boyle is so young but already learning how to finish in big games. The d was a question but only give up 23 pts so far in 3 games. All these young guys might be starting to grow up. The backfield is explosive and fun to watch.

Yes, The defense is playing better. They made a couple of nice stands in the game stopping possible Danville scores after the offense turned the ball over. I think being able to se a lot of speed in their early scrimmage against Tates Creek and their game last week with Warren Central helped a great deal. Their offense should be improving also as their young line gets more experience. Anderson Co. will provide good competition this week at home. Boyle has 4 very good backs but their play calling seems out of rhythm at times. A QB like Robbins can overcome some of that although he is still a soph. and threw a couple of picks in the game. He also threw a perfect pass to a receiver in the end zone 10 yds behind the nearest defender that was just dropped.

I didn't mean to leave out the tremendous job that Levi McKinney did on both offense and defense. He was like a one man wrecking crew. Two tds and played very good defense with one td being on an interception. The interception was on a tipped pass by Josiah Robbins the Rebs soph QB who also threw 2 td passes. Fans don't realize what a good defensive back Josiah is because of his offensive skills.
