In their defense most schools could not handle this either. There aren't many sophomore QBs like PT waiting to take over for a top-notch team.

Exactly correct. To replace Wagner, you have to shift Bir's replacement, or find someone new altogether. There are two big roles to fill in the offense.

Yes, the former is academic, IMO. I thought the Birds were at least three td's better than CCH before the injuries. Not sure if Highlands could take a hit like that to the personnel and still wax the Colonels this year.
