26-14 was the final. Played tonight because highlands football has something tomorrow night and they wanted the freshman attending.

Uglier 2nd half for the Camels. I like the way the Pulsfort kid runs the rock. Not real big but he's fast and hits the hole hard like a running back should

Yes he did, he missed his daughters JV volleyball match against the Breds, which was also at Campbell Co. However he did show up for the varsity match. :thumb:

 

If I'm correct he said it was 6-6 at half, or right before halftime.

Yes Jared ran the ball for me last year in the FTJFL. Once he decided he wanted to run downhill and hit the hole, it was almost impossible to stop him. With some much needed weight to be gained he is sure to be very special....Moving forward Jared!!!

Camels struck first when Cooper Gray hit Tyler Bryson out of the backfield for a TD. Xtra point was no good and the Camels led 6-0. With a little over 1 minute in the half and the Camels with the ball at their own 30 they fumbled and the Bluebirds recovered. On 4th and long they ran a reverse and Pulsfort took it to the house. Xtra point was no good and the half time score was knotted at 6. The Camels were late out of the locker room and were flagged 15 to start the 2nd half. So kicking off from their own 20, Pulsfort took the kick at about midfield and took it to the house. Uncle Mo quickly shifted to the Bluebirds as they led 12-6. QB Brady Gosney punched the next one in on a 1 yard TD run and the Birds led 19-6. Camels came back as QB Cooper Gray punched it in from a yard out. JJ Wagel ran the 2 point conversion in to make it 19-14. Birds came back and Pulsfort was off to the races again. Kick was good making the final score 26-14.

Game was actually moved from Thurs. to Wed. to accommodate a home Camel soccer game.

 

Here is Highlands Frosh Jared Pulsfort during last night's action against Campbell Co. Standing at about 6'-0" tall he will need to add some much needed weight. Jared was part of the State Champ 4 x 100 relay this past spring. Can flat out pick em up and put them down....Once he is in open field, you will not catch him!

 

Here is "Lightning in a bottle" Bradley Greene. He was my QB last year in the Wildcat Formation. Has has now moved to WR where he probably feels more comfortable but you want to talk about somebody who is electric. The Bluebirds just keep reloading!!!
