Now the parent doesn't know for certain. He says he thought it was a freshman game but now he is not sure. He can't recall any Mercer sophomores on the field and is assuming that the exact same team will show up on Thursday for the freshman game on Thursday.

You need to tell those employees of yours to get better information next time while they are trying to do their jobs. :thumb:

Boyle and other are schools play their JV games on Monday so they can practice with the rest of the varsity during the week. Freshman games have always been played onThursday. It is no different this year. Most JV teams play both freshmen and sophs so it is easy for parents to get a little confused. Boyle's QB's on the JV team were freshmen also. Believe me the coaches know. They have been doing it this way for years. Common sense should tell anyone that JV players , many who are used as back ups to the varsity on Friday nights would not play on Thursday and have to turn right around and play on Friday nights.

This is true also. I'm going to use this against him next time I see him. Probably add some adjectives to it while explaining it to him.
