I wouldn't overlook Alfred Allen (OL) - Senior looking for his 3rd Varsity Letter. Started in the Playoffs 2 yrs ago who had off season injury prior to his Jr season that limited his overall playing time. Will provide a lot of leadership this year for a young group. All he does is get the job done but he will be an integral part of the offense.

That is what I'm hearing. If it's true, I wonder if they will stick to the platooning of the players this year and only play floyd on offense or if he will actually go both ways.

 

I also wanted to add that their O-Line should be pretty big. I saw Matteoli yesterday who I believe is playing left Guard and that boy has really shot up over the off season, he has really gotten big compared to where he was last year, strong too. Hope for a great year for him, a really great kid who has worked his butt off.

Floyd is gonna be a beast, would live to see him explode so my OSU guys will visit.

I know the Floyd kid is an excellent athlete, but is he a QB? I don't remember him playing that position in the past. Does he have the arm to have a multi-dimensional offense or will Boone have to revert back to the run oriented offenses of the past?

If Boone County has brought BG's offense with them, they will adjust to Floyd's strengths. For those who don't know, Floyd is an incredible baseball player so throwing the ball isnt much of a problem for him. The good news is I hear that Lamb's injury is only a partial tear in his labrum that will be a 4-5 week recovery (per his twitter). He will be back around week 3-4.

Floyd is such a gifted athlete I am sure the coaching staff will make the pieces fit together.

 

And I don't care who is the QB, look for Boone to throw the ball more than they run it.

 

Finally, the scary part about Floyd playing QB is his running ability. When Floyd is in the open field he is extremely dangerous.
