August 1, 201313 yr Rick for me. After it took a while to download. Can't wait for the new season. I'm assuming they will start showing reruns soon to get us all pumped up? They released that trailer at comicon, but other than that it seems to be pretty quiet regarding hype for the show.

I'm guessing we'll not see the old episodes until October, where they'll be utilized as a lead-up to Season 4. They recently showed every episode over the July 4th holiday. I'm also guessing that the hype machine will go into full effect around Labor Day.

They're still going to be dealing with the zombies, they're still very much a threat. They're still going to be dealing with humans, that's still very much a threat. But there's a new element thrown in, this new unseen force that is going to be extremely dangerous and possibly more dangerous than anything.” “It would be an enemy in this world, but in that world, it's terrifying," said Gimple, before deadpanning, "White Walkers." August 6, 201313 yr Can't wait for the new season to start. But, seeing the preview reminded me of a question I had at the end of last season. After the governor went off the deep end, and Rick's group ended up taking in several from Woodbury...why'd they return to the prison, instead of just taking over the town? Did I miss something? Seemed like the governor ended up wiping out most of the potential resistance out on the road.

Seemed like the governor ended up wiping out most of the potential resistance out on the road. ^ They didn't feel like Woodbury was as secure as the prison at the time. The prison is more connected and isolated as opposed to Woodbury IMO. Plus it may have been easier for the Governor to try and takeover Woodbury rather than the prison.

People who haven't turned, but have run out of food & resorted to cannibalism. That would somewhat go along with the comics. I'm guessing it's cannibalism & that Hershel becomes a victim of them. In the comics, Dale loses a leg & then later on he gets attacked by the cannibals. Since Hershel is the one who loses a leg in the show, I'll guess he gets the cannibal attack also.

There are a lot of possible ways to go to follow the comics, but somehow I think they will throw another huge twist. Perhaps add a couple of new characters. With Lori and Andrea both gone - I guess I can focus all my TWD hate on Carl.

Season 4 to Have Standalone Governor Episodes Though David Morrissey is slated to reprise his role this season, there is great mystery regarding how he will be used and how often he will show up. According to a new report, though, it seems that The Governor could actually dominate a portion of the first half of this next season with what is being “unofficially” described as a pair of “standalone Governor installments.” To fans of The Walking Dead, this probably won’t come as a surprise as the show went back and forth last season with standalone prison episodes and standalone Woodbury episodes. Doing this allowed both settings to be more fully explored as we were introduced to a batch of new characters in Woodbury like The Governor, Milton, and for awhile there, Michonne.
