Absolutely, however are we as a society willing to let bin landen go, no wars and no executions? Seems like a lot of folks that want to save these lives are the first to pick up a gun.

I think war is much different than what this is. Executions are closer but IMO different also from abortion. But I would vote today to stop executions if it meant an end to most abortions.

Going to war to defend your nation and punishing criminals is far different from aborting an innocent child.

Trying equate them is trying to throw people off of the message of defending innocent life.

All life is sacred, but I am talking about defending your life, your way of life, against an angressor.

Would you do nothing when attacked by a Hitler (France, Britain,Russia) or Japanese militarists?

Because of their actions millions of civilians died on both sides.

 

Defending yourself is far different than aborting a baby.

Let's get back to the original question. What other laws that have been challenged and ultimately ruled constitutional have had conditions added to them?
