June 25, 201313 yr A friend just got $185 for a 4s 16 GB, so you would get more than that but probably have to add a little $ to get a iPhone 5 32 GB. I have wifi at home and work so I have been using a max of 1.5 GB down to less than half a GB. I actually dropped my unlimited data in favor or a family share plan. I have my parents and my brothers widow on my plan. With 3 iPhones and mom just has a flip phone, we share the data, unlimited minutes and text. I was paying 25 per month for my stepdad's 2 GB and he usually was under half a GB, my sister in law was on the $30 for 3 GB using 2-4 GB ( she didn't have home Internet at first) . So the data share helped and now we could all FaceTime over cell service and use our phones as hot spots, I turned off the data plan on my iPad. Right now we are using just 2-3 GB per month of the 10gb data share but in the fall I will be his using the hotspot feature to upload game film to Hudl. I wish the data share rolled over.
June 25, 201313 yr I'm thinking of doing this. Does anyone know if the type of phone you have changes what 5 they will let you upgrade to for free? I've got a 4S 32 gig. So do I get the same phone as a 4 8 gig (whatever the lowest was) user or can I get a bigger phone? On something cometely different for all of you unlimited data people. How much data are you using a month? I get super close to 3GB/month which is what they allow before they 'throttle' your phone which is their attempt to get you on their other data plans.
