June 18, 201313 yr Then take this little quiz. I got 9 out of 10. Quiz: Do you know MLB rules? - SportsNation - ESPN
June 18, 201313 yr I don't think I know baseball that well, but took it anyway. I got three of the first four right. That's really as far as I'd like to admit to.
June 18, 201313 yr Author I don't think I know baseball that well, but took it anyway. I got three of the first four right. That's really as far as I'd like to admit to. So 3 out of 10?
June 18, 201313 yr Author Sadly, yes. Those were obviously some tough questions. Some of those situations I can remember happening. Not the exact players or teams mentioned, but one I remember specifically from years ago when Don Zimmer was managing the Cubs, and couldn't believe he was arguing when the play went against the Cubs. It turned out he was right, and the umpires blew it. I'll never forget that or that rule, and I would bet 8 out of 10 will miss that one.
June 18, 201313 yr Author 50%... hey teach' date=' are you grading this on a curve?[/quote'] After more people take it we will let Professor Clyde go over the answers.
June 18, 201313 yr After more people take it we will let Professor Clyde go over the answers. If he's as stingy with passing grades as he is with the like button we're all doomed.
June 18, 201313 yr Author If he's as stingy with passing grades as he is with the like button we're all doomed. I'm happy with 90%.
June 18, 201313 yr I got an 80%. Would have been a 90% had I read the entire question before I decided to choose an answer and move on.
June 18, 201313 yr Author 60%....I don't see the logic behind some of them' date=' but :idunno:[/quote'] Such as?
June 18, 201313 yr 6/10 Might've been easier for me without all the unnecessary info/names etc. The one thing That I got wrong was the bunt/ triple play question. I did not know the infield fly rule did not apply to bunts.
June 18, 201313 yr Such as? The no infield fly on a bunt. I remember hearing that rule during the fiasco last year during the Braves/Cards WC game controversy, so I got that one right, but I still don't see why.
