As was mentioned, Wells can play anywhere, and playing right keeps him out of making pivots and being exposed to sliding runners. Plus, Andrew Trame has played pretty well while Wells was out.

 

Trame's bat has been serviceable however he his fielding has been horrid from what I've seen since he got the starting job. Given what the Eagles have on the bench I feel like there could have been better options at that position.

They aren't looking for someone to field the ball Trame has hit over 300 since being put into the starting lineup. This is why he is there and has remained. The team has struggled offensively and he has given them a spark. Outside of Wells hes the next option and with him hitting i doubt he gets pulled.

It's my understanding that he wasn't feeling 100%. Possible stomach bug that is going around Mt. Sterling.

I honestly see it as bad coaching I saw the game as Hall just told the coach too warm up Tabor just in case they needed him cause he said he wasn't feeling the best the kid shouldn't of been pulled if he said he was fine after the 1st inning that's just bad coaching and not having faith in your pitcher that's how I saw the game either way MC did not have the bats going but if they did keep Hall in the game I don't think the final score would of been 8-1 but they were not going to win Scott High pitcher was on fire.

It's just a first year coach not understanding the big stage it's just bad coaching period in my opinion.

Put woods over on 3rd and made Nester the designated hitter. After 4 inning of no hits. Maybe put some other players in. You had a lot of seniors on the bench that have played in big games that might have gave them some hits.

They also had alot of seniors on the field that carried them all year. I would have done the same thing as their coaching staff did. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't. They still were 20-9 and a DISTRICT TITLE!! Get a clue!! GOOD YEAR INDIANS AND BEST OF LUCK TO ALL SENIORS
