I think Cooper may surprise a few folks this season. We lost some studs, absolutely...but maybe the kids behind them are going to fill those cleats in a big way. Nobody on that roster was going to play over Morris, Centers or Collins last year, but that doesn't mean their backups aren't as good as anyone else in the district this year. No way we beat all the 6A's like we did last season, but I'm hopeful we can take 2. Scott is a sleeper that I'm worried about. South Oldham is formidable. I can't wait to see Conner without Fogle. I'm not giving up on my Jags before we take a snap.

I see a lot of question marks on both these teams so who knows what kind of game this will be. A lot of schools have not published their schedules yet. I believe there will be a better game in N. Ky. on 8/23 than this one. Obviously, if Highlands is playing University Christian on 8/23, that would be one. As of right now, if I had to choose, I would go to Covington Catholic at Boone Co. over top of the Cooper/Ryle game.

 

Does anyone know when schools have to have their schedules in to the KHSAA?

I am waiting for the complete schedules to come before deciding on which Friday night game.

 

Raceland is playing on Sat night and I am taking that game in, for sure to meet some new posters and see some older ones.

Supposed to be posted to the website by May 31. That usually doesn't happen, although many are up now. There usually are a few teams still trying to find a 10th game during the summer so their's might not be posted until late.

It will be a good game. It's going to be a battle and neither team will quit.
