May 2, 201313 yr San Diego students suspended for 'twerking' video - MontereyHerald.com : Not being able to go through graduation seems a bit much. Yes, twerking is a bit provocative but still seems extreme. I haven't found the video yet.

May 2, 201313 yr ... and now I'm listening to the Ying Yang Twins for 20 minutes... I give up, who are they? Should I know?
May 2, 201313 yr I give up, who are they? Should I know? Depends on where you were mentally in the year 2000. :lol2: They're a rap duo. I don't recommend looking them up if you're not already familiar.

May 2, 201313 yr I watched the partial video and I really don't see the big deal. This is no more provocative than cheerleading and dance teams IMO. The punishment doesn't fit the crime, even if it happened on school property or during school hours. Exception would be the girl who may have been nude from the waist down.

School dances are worse than that, IMO.
May 2, 201313 yr Agreed but that in itself doesn't warrant such penalties IMO. But if they hadn't recorded it, it would likely have been a non issue. In this day and age when it seems like everybody is so sensitive to everything, why take the chance?
