Can anyone tell me the pitchers for Cooper?

^Lawhorn, Doelman, Hathorn. I believe due to the 4-5 errors that all 4 runs were unearned. Cooper continues to leave too many men on base as well. Collins should be back in the line-up soon in the clean-up spot and should help big time, along with his glove in the field. It's getting close to the time in the season that Beiger has figured out who can play and where and I still believe once they get their "main" line-up in place that they can compete in a one game scenario with anyone in NKY. Now they just have to show it on the field.

I wasn't sure about the first three, I know the final run was due to several pitches to the backstop. It all evens out I guess, Dixie must have hit at least 4-5 bullets, right at fielders, in the first few innings.

Why is Collins not playing? Is he injured?

He went on Spring Break so to follow team rules he has to sit out the number of games he missed during spring break. He should be back on the field this weekend

That's not too harsh. I know at Dixie, if you go on Spring Break, you get the boot (supposedly, with the exception of Freshmen, who may not know better)!

No, it's not harsh at all.

Personally I think for a kid like AJ who played 3 sports all 4 years plus Summer ball, his senior year if he finally wants a week off then I have no problem with it. 4 games not played is well worth a week off for the first time in 4 years.

Different rules for JV vs Varsity? JV player went on spring break. Upon return from trip, then missed a DH, heard to attend an AAU basketball tournament. Returned to the lineup and hasn't missed an inning since. If the rules are different, everyone should know up front so they can make similar decisions.

I am guessing the rules are set by each teams HC if that is the case with the jv player

Don't think so. Same for all teams.

I wonder if the Varsity coach knew about that then? I can only speak for the Varsity, that was the rule set up from the beginning of the season and the coach has held to it, even though it affected one of the top players on the team.

The JV kid missed 2 games and sat 2 games. No different than varsity.
