Wow one of the best facilities I have ever visited. The last six years We have traveled to parks in 15 states from Maryland to Colorado, they have built a first class facility here in Kentucky. It would be a great place for a future KHSAA state tournament. If there are better I would like to see them. A great place for softball and baseball.

I know a lot of SWOL teams have already gone down there for tournaments. I have heard nothing but good things about it..

I think it is 15-16 total baseball and softball fields.

 

They also have the same number of soccer fields.

 

One of the baseball fields is called "Miracle Field", it's all turf and I'm guessing the fence is 150 dead center. However, the cool part? It's made for diasbaled youth .

 

They also have two turf football fields.

 

With the weather getting nicer, if you find yourself on a weeks. Needing something to do, it's definitely worth the time to take a visit. Forget even watching a game..just go see the place.

12 fields in 3 "quads". One quad is fastpitch specific, 4 fields. One quad has 2 Men's league fields with the deeper fences and infields. Remaining 6 fields are baseball of varying sizes. Whether or not KHSAA will go against the Owensboro Mafia and move State tournament there is the biggest question. Would make perfect sense, though.

I have never seen the fields in Owensboro, how are those fields? Don't city's bid on those type of things. Is the Ownsboro Mafia anything like the Amish Mafia, if so I think we can over take them!!

If I get a field named after me you get the concession named after you.. we will call "Fogty's buffett concessions stand" seeing you spent a hundred dollars on the buffett at the concession stand yesterday during the UK game.

I have St Henry at .02 a percent higher than HC to win it.

Each 'quad' has it's own concession stand and restroom. The walkways and concession building is elevated in the center of the quad so visibility to the fields isn't an issue. The seating behind the plate has a covering to help provide some shade and some protection from the elements. Each 'quad' also has it's own playground for the little kids.

 

They can run upwards of 16 soccer games at once on the surrounding fields.

And the 2 turf fields can accommodate football, soccer, and lacrosse.

 

It's an impressive facility as we were down there last year for soccer. We were excited thinking we were going back down last week, but we were at some small field on the other side of the tracks.
