Who will show the most improvement on your team in 2006?

Featured Replies

Which players for your team do you expect to show the most improvement in their game in the 2006 season?

- Maybe they had a good year, and you think they will be great in 2006.

- Maybe they were inconsistent, but showed flashes of what they are capable of and they will show that consistency.

- Maybe they started slow but finished strong and are ready for the 2006 campaign with a new fire in their gut.

Whatever it is, what players do you think will show the most improvement from 2005 to 2006?

I look for Blake Johnson, LB and FB at Johnson Central, to have a phenominal year in 2006. He recently had his shoulder repaired that would pop out on him every other play. He for all practical purposes played one armed last year. With 2 good shoulders to lay the wood on people with I think you will see how aggressive this kid really is.

I look for the whole GRC, football team to be better then the 2005 8-3 team,Jone`s Greene, Roger`s McCaffrey, all four of these kids can play D-1 football, and they pack the size and speed to back it up. So when # 33 # 42 # 8 and # 32 leads there team in to the 2006 season, I look for GRC, as a [TEAM] to have a better successful season then last year`s.

For South Laurel, the following MUST improve and take on larger roles:

Kyle Cochis - WR

Miles Keith - DB

Chad Nolan - OL/LB

Logan Baker - WR

Jeremy Armfield - OL/DL

Brad Nolan - OL/DL

Blake Fields - LB

Wes King - WR/DB

Phillip Hibbard - DL

Jeff Ledford - OL

I am sure there are others, these come to mind. Won't be long until spring practice!!!

I look for solid performances turned in by Junior to be QB, Ryan Preston from Belfry.

The team will go as far as he can take them IMO.

Also, keep an eye on #59 Matt Totten from Belfry. He was a monster and saw significant playing time as a Soph. last season. He should come in at 6'4 and no less than 270 next year.

I expect him to be very good.

I'm looking for Frankfort linemen to step up these next coming season... how they work this off-season will determind there Season.
