James Bolden Official Sophomore Mixtape

One can only hope that we get to see a Ballard/Holmes game next year... Would love to see Snider/Martin v Bolden/Chames.

It's not a done deal but I've heard they are trying to get those two matched up in the Joe B Hall Classic at Montgomery Co...

Will Holmes be that strong next year? Don't they lose their second and third leading scorers?

They will be pretty good.

Return starters Chames and Bolden.

Return all of their bench players, including a group that was JV champions.

Return a freshman class that is probably the deepest and most talented group in nky that also won a state championship as 8th graders.

Safe to assume they might not have as much experience in the starting line up but will be more talented.

From what I've heard, Holmes will play a very challenging schedule.

Not to beat a dead horse, or compare the two any further, but after watching this, you really see there were at least two time where he really made Dominique Hawkins look bad on D.

And after Hawkins got in foul trouble, and Bosley took over, I thought Bosley played as good a defense as you can, and he still could create enough space to get a shot off.

And Hawkins still outscored him and led his team to the victory while in foul trouble.

Bolden was more efficient. :D

14-29 for 29 pts, 13 rbs

Hawkins 12-32 for 31 pts, 12 rbs

Point taken though on leading team to victory.

No doubt on the efficiency. Both are phenomenal players.

Hawkins is over all better player right now! Remember Bolden is already 17 so they aren't that far apart. Hawkins is just so much more athletic.

I was at one of Sherwin Anderson's workout yesterday over in Cincy and watched Bolden just absolutely grill the opposition during one on one drills.

Sherwin took a shot at him on defense and said he couldn't believe how strong James was. He said that is what is separating him from a lot of kids at the high school level right now...not only is he quick and can handle the ball, but he is "country strong" to go with it. He was bullying bigger players down low on offense and defense.

There were kids there from Elder, Moeller, Milford, Northwest, Dixie, Glen Este, and I believe the other kid was from Sycamore.
