But this weekend Louisville's hosting a solid three-game series with Alabama. I'm going to try and make the last one on Sunday.

Louisville won the first game of the series yesterday 4-3 on a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 14th.

 

Play at 1 pm today and tomorrow.

The Cards completed the sweep of Alabama.

 

Saturday won 6-0.

Sunday won 8-7 (10 innings).

 

Next up: Single game at home against Purdue March 13.

Jeff Thompson and Dace Kine combined for a two-hit shutout in that game Saturday afternoon. Thompson pitched seven innings of two-hit baseball. Kine came in and pitched two perfect innings to finish off the game.
