2,000? AT, according to Ashland's AD James A. Anderson holds 1600. Last year it held 1800, they put in new bleachers this year and the new fire code required 5 aisle instead of 3, thus reducing capacity by about 200. If Ashland were the host school this year then they would not be able to hold it at their gym.

 

My suggestion is for other area fans to get out and support the tournament over the next 3 years. If attendance stays high then the tournament will remain at Summit for the foreseeable future.
