Honestly, I think it would belong in the 'M' category, and I believe most other Manual fans would agree... but it's too late for this particular poll as it was already in the D's.

 

If you were to call it duPont Manual, you might as well go all out and call it duPont Manual High School: The Magnet High School. (I hope the other Manual peeps appreciate that )

Really? Can someone tell me about the era in Male history that just preceeded the Bob Redman days?

 

Mayfield has one more state championship I believe, but Male has a few more wins (it can't be too many because Mayfield has a ton too).

 

For the record I voted for Mayfield and I didn't think it was all that close of a decision.

Does anyone know anything about Maysville High Schools football team or the area of Maysville?

The high school in Maysville is Mason County. They had a good run a few years ago when they had Dustin Grutza at QB (now at Cincinnati) and Chris Lofton (basketball at Tennessee). They were ranked #1 in AA for awhile but lost to Russell twice, most importantly in the regional finals. They struggled two years ago, winning only one game I believe, but rebounded and look to be contenders once again. They have a very good coach who is very offensive minded.
