Keep their best playersw and go out and get impact FA's that can make this team better. They've always kept their own, except for the best when they showed little interest in keeping the ones they should have, and yet still 0 playoff wins. Seems to me that formula they have lived by for 20 years has not worked.

What year did Steinbach leave? After 05 or 06 wasn't it? The Bengals were either just coming off a playoff season with a bright future or just barely missed the playoffs. Their QB who everyone around the NFL considered a franchise QB at the time just tore up his knee. Yet you say they should have let walk the best RT in football, and even though he was old he was still performing as the best. So this way they could keep a guard, which guards have shown to be easier to replace than tackles.

 

Do you even know why your in this discussion? I think half the time you get in stuff just to argue. I talk about how the Bengals should keep their own, you seem to agree that they should yet at the same time you still talk about how crazy it was to say that. Once again you looking for an argument with no validity behind your argument unless you want to go back to the past. Since someone can't seem to move on from the past and realize they actually have been smarter on these things, and if they keep their own this time they will be keeping talent for a change.
