February 24, 201313 yr Vinny is certainly a good movie, and one I'll watch again and again, but not in a "must see" kind of way if it turns up on TV. A few like of those that still come to mind: A Few Good Men (someone else mentioned it earlier. Whenever I turn it on, it's only 10 minutes or less from a scene I absolutely love. Gotta see that scene.) Breakfast Club (or at least it was for a long time. Not ever on anymore, and probably for the best because I may have overdone this one.) Apollo 13 (hardly ever on, but I'd still watch anytime I stumbled across it.) Remember the Titans (could damn near leave this one on just for the soundtrack. But, if it's on, it's still hard to turn off. Oh, Petey!) A League of Their Own (movie just flows so well.)

If an un-edited version of Smokey and the Bandit is on, it will stop me in my tracks. "The GD Germans got nothing to do with it" one of the best movie lines ever!!!

IF an un edited version of Smokey ever popped on a channel, I'd certainly watch. Haven't seen it in it's original form in 100 years. Jackie Gleason was absolutely classic throughout the movie. We could have a thread of all his one liners in the movie. It's actually the only Burt Reynolds movie I really liked. I can deal with the first Cannonball Run and The Longest Yard had it's moments, but overall not a fan at all. Deliverance=most overrated movie ever.
