I was just wondering what people thought about Augusta High School this season and what about the rest?

Iv seen some games this season and this team doesnt give up i was just wondering if anyone thought they hada chance for some upsets in the district and region games?

George Clooney was the best past player.

George Clooney was the best past player.

If you think George Clooney was the best player then i think you need to look at some game footage Bill Kelsch, Buddy Murray, Robin Kelsch, Patrick Kelsch, Brian Kirk, and Buddy Baker Were all outstanding players and 10 times better.

I used to love playing in that gym... it was like the movie Hoosiers..... the balcony... one night there was a bat flying around during the game... all the cheerleaders were freakin out. Didnt care too much for the HOMECOOKING though.... the refs always seemed to be one sided whenver you went down to Augusta.... Also loved the fact that if you had a breakaway layup on the north end..... with the doors left open you could keep running right out of hte gym and down the steps.......

as a former Augusta student and player I can only laugh at the comment about George Clooney being the best past player. HA HA HA.. I will however agree that he has been the most successful past player from Augusta.

His old uniforms have been in high demand, so he must have been the best player, right? Plus he can still ball. :thumb:

I havent seen him ball in a while, but I will admit that every fundraiser Augusta has they are auctioning off one of his jerseys.

Patrick Kelsch is the best player to come out of A-Town without a doubt.
