What is her background?

Congrats to my long time friend and teammate Freedom Fogt, she will be the new head coach at St. Henry.

 

Congrats to Freedom. Not familiar with her background. Post #2 in this thread says she was a former pitching coach with ties to Boone Co. Where was she a pitching coach and what ties to Boone County does she have? Just curious. Again congratulations to her and to St. Henry on finally hiring a coach.

Thanks Clyde. It didn't mention anything about being a pitching coach or having any ties to Boone County, as mentioned in an earlier post. Again I ask, anyone know who she was a pitching coach for and what her ties are with Boone County?

I thought she was at Holmes as an assistant?

I think this is all related to Danielle Baer. From what I heard her name was in the mix at St. Henry, so this is where that above info could be coming from.

If you heard the name, you would not forget it. They/We have a coach any plenty of players. Only thing missing is a scorekeeper as good as Brossart's.

Danielle was apparently the coach that was in the mix, but did not pan out.

The player that I spoke with said today that the new coach was not the same as the one we discussed last week.

She was actually an assistant at Holy Cross.

Good for the Lady Cru - good luck to them and their new coach...they hired the right female coach mentioned in this blog. They got this one right.

Robyn Saccone Schroeder Bishop Brossart (1993-1997)

 

Robyn was one of the premier slow pitch players and pitchers ever in Northern Kentucky. During her four years as the starting pitcher for Bishop Brossart the team finished with 139 wins and 25 losses. The three time All-Region performer batted .593 to lead Northern Ky. In batting. She was a three time team MVP leading her team to two Region Titles, 4 NKAC Titles and 4 District Titles. In soccer she was “Best defensive Player” and in basketball was named “Top defender.” Robyn was a member of Bishop Brossart’s first All “A” Region Basketblal Champions.
