Holmes 50 Cooper 44

The weather?

The fans thinking it was going to be a blowout?

The lack of parking at Holmes?

A concern of getting the Flu?

The concerns of the Mommies of Union, that traveling to Covington is dangerous for their children?,

The fact that the Holmes crowd usually never shows up, unless it's against CovCath or HC.

Idk what TOGs problem is but that's the second off the wall comment taking a jab at Cooper and quite frankly Holmes n the city of Covington. I've traveled to Covington for the last 17 years and nvr had one problem. Just another slap in the face by CCH fan IMO that's totally uncalled for. Guess if HHS had a tiny gym like CCH the crowd would have looked larger.

Whether there was 200 or 2000 there it was a great game.

Have been attending games in the Holmes gym before some of you have were even born and indeed attended the 1st Ninth Region (held at Holmes) Tournament games at Holmes in 1968.

So how many of you have ever been inside the old Holmes gym for a HS game, besides me?

The comment was made on the poor crowd and lack of students by Clyde.

Yes Holmes gym is big but Cooper is a big school and with the comment of the lack of students attending the games, well.....

Please explain to me at least why Cooper didn't have a huge crowd of students at such an important game! I do understand Holmes side of it but lack the understanding of the Coopers student body not coming out in full force, if indeed Clyde comment was correct?

TOG they were talking about this statement that was a slam on both Cooper and Holmes even if it was sarcastic.

First nobody really cares how long you've been attending games. U have no idea how old I am so check yourself. I've been in this area only 17 years and I can promise u I've spent Several days and nites in Holmes' gym and the city of Covington without issue.

As previously stated, the comment about "mommies being afraid to let there kids go to Covington was uncalled for". Cooper had a decent amount of fans there and really not that much less than any other road game outside of Boone Co. Your comments about Big Cooper proves to me u know nothing about the boundaries of Cooper as our boundaries are the least of all the 4 Boone Co. schools. The crowd is meaningless anyway IMO as the players from both would have played just as hard in an empty gym.

Lastly, not sure how u call this such an "important" game. Nothing was on the line for either team. Non-district for both. It only matters in March but then again I thought u would know that since you've been around sooooo long.

The little 5th year school from Union will just keep doing what we do and try to get better with every game.
