Coach Teegarden will bring an intensity to the program and his love and loyalty to the game will help the Brossart program emerge in 1A.

Oops...

They will likely 've back in 1a next as alignment.

Great hire.

Lots of work to be done.

Best wishes to Coach T and the Mustang program.

Isn't he the guy that helped run Pendleton County into the ground?

I don't know anything about him at Pendleton. I did find this old thread when he was at Ryle.

Brossart seems like it is a really hard job due to the number of boys that play either soccer, cross country, or one sport. There just aren't enough other kids to put a godo team together considering they are in such a tough football area.

No, his last year at PC was that school's best ever. He led them to a 7-4 record.

Looks like a mixed bag.

Teegarden can bring some good coaches and Brossart kids have a high work ethic.

Lee Teegarden is a very bright coach. What he was able to do with the Pendleton County football program was outstanding. I was able to watch them play, and their guys played as hard as I have witnessed young men go at it. The last season at Pendleton County, I believe out of their seven wins, they were behind at half four out of the seven wins and two or three of those seven wins were in overtime. They were beating teams that were much more talented. Very impressed the way the Bishop Brossart administration has handled the hiring of their next coach and Lee will be an outstanding fit within their philosophy. Congratulations to Lee and the Bishop Brossart football program!

Wouldn't call that "running it into the ground". What was Pendelton's record 4 years before and the years since?

I agree with you 100%, some people just cant stand a good person getting an opportunity.
