Great point, but just because players like Congelton are in for most of the game doesnt necessarily mean that they should put up much larger numbers than a decent/good player from a team that plays a lot of players. There is always the stamina factor, playing an entire 32 minutes can be grueling especially when youre playing a team that has fresh players all of the time. Its not always the numbers that determine how good a player really is either, you have to look at what he means to his team. Without Congelton where would Owsley be? Im not saying he's the BEST junior in the region, but his name is mentioned a lot.

 

Yes, I think that if your on the floor more you'll have better stats. Stats i'm refering is points since that's all that is in the herald leader & why many people know congleton. A kid averaging 25 mins a game will have more points consistently than a kid with 15 mins per.

Hicks and Bailey are the best juniors in the region. The 54th seems to be loaded with juniors as the Big kid for Leslie is a top 3 or 4 junior also.

Would he be mentioned as much if he were at lee since many of those players i havent heard of as much as congleton (fetters, johnson). heard about brandenburg & "the twins" but really not good with their last name.

 

To be honest he wouldve probably been a better player had he still been at Lee. Owsley hasnt had one coach for consecutive years in the last 5 years. Congelton would make Lee a better team than what they already are, he's a real hard worker, solid defensively, plus another shooter to that tough Lee Co. squad.

He would be a better player?? He probably would since there has been a coaching carousel the last few years & one coach would benefit & one philosophy. He might be a better player but he wouldnt get mentioned as much or his stats wouldnt be as good as they are.

Leslie's big kids our all Seniors (Quentin Morgan, Daniel Day & Tyler Wells), Brian Hubbard 5"10 & Ryan Howard 5"7 are juniors.

i have seen the mosley play and he has an awesome 3 point shot and i'm sure his stats shows it as well. He is also fast as lightning...also Micheal Lindon needs to be added to the mix, this kid is very athletic, just a very talented kid

Hicks is a good player!! Stats are important as long as the players are playing "team ball", playing hard and have a good attitude.

But in my opinion the Neely kid has just as much skills.
