Correct, #55 I believe is the center, he didn't play much either in the second half

Thanks. I wanted to make sure I had the correct kid .

#55 can be a good player.

That's not true, just mad at close back to back calls on him, he will be missed for the upcoming Augusta game

Glad that wasn't the case.

And Brenden Stanley may be my favorite player to watch.

Scary thing is that he still has a lot of things offensively he can get better at.

Easy kid to root for.

I was there for Augusta/West Carter & Bracken/Beechwood, but skipped out on this game which was in between those other two. Heard from three fellas--two of them being individuals I would trust with my life & the other some random guy in the bathroom--but all three basically described the same incident with the ejected Boone player. Kid went off, cursed frequently, & had to be physically restrained. An ugly scene.

I have heard glowing reports about the Stanley kid from Boone. Would love to see the matchup with Augusta, but I don't believe I will make it to Brooksville tomorrow.

Kids get ejected. It happens unfortunately but it's not always terrible.

THIS sounds terrible for Boone and Coach McQ. I would be inclined to sit the kid for a while.

^ A friend told me basically the exact same thing.

I wasn't there to see the Iroquios-Boone game, so as just a neutral observer, it was a bit of a spectacle. I'm not familiar with Boone County, but folks have to remember one player doesn't always reflect on the program as a whole. I'm not trying to "beat up" on a kid here as I know kids don't always do a good job of controlling their tempers, but as an educator and coach though, I think one has to consider some action beyond the one or two game suspension required by KHSAA.

Looks like Hunter Hixenbaugh had a nice game. Great kid, good ball player. He will continue to improve. Keep an eye out.
