CovCath 60 Dixie Heights 57

Colonel Crazy, it dawns on me that I may be mistaken about your allegiance.

Maybe we can figure it out with a few questions about the game.

When the Dixie students were still talking during the pregame prayer were you thinking: A - Wow, that's really disrespectful; or B - it's a shame that public schools have abolished prayer from school because these kids are losing touch with an important part of our culture and heritage?

When the Dixie students joined the CovCath choir to finish the National anthem were you thinking: A - How rude, don't they know this is a time to be serious; or B - hmmm, now that's an interesting way to make fun of the other guys in the spirit of the chants that have already taken place?

When Groneman got hit in the eye while attempting a layup directly in front of the ref who had an unobstructed view were you thinking: A - What's he acting like he's hurt for... that was an inadvertent touch; or B - Wow, why doesn't the ref make a delayed call... he can obviously see that the kid's shot was affected by a severe poke in the eye?

When Jacobs pleaded his case on a foul he didn't think he committed and after stretching his arms out in disgust he walked over, put his left arm completely around the shoulders of the ref in a tight embrace, and continued pleading his case as he gestured with his free right hand were you thinking: A - now this is really cool, our star player gets to act just like Kobe Bryant when he embraces the NBA refs; or B - dang, does he have to pat the ref on the head to get a T in this place?

If you answered A for all four, you are a Colonel who probably agrees that old references to Lil Colonels means you get to be called the Big Colonels.

If you answered B, then I will rethink my position and back off, because I might inadvertently be offending a fellow Dixie fan.

If you don't know how you felt in these situations, then maybe you're an Oldham County Colonel and are merely kibitzing???
